The Gunship Grey line
Six pieces of hardware, one open protocol. Every unit below is announced and moving through tooling right now. There is no date and there are no deposits; each one gets its page, its specs, and its opening day when it is ready, and not a minute before. Pick the ones you care about and we will tell you the moment each is real.
Portable Mini
The pocket ultrasonic that started it, rebuilt in Gunship Grey with the open protocol at its core.
WeatherDot
Temperature, pressure, and humidity at your position, feeding the elevation half of every solution.
Mini All-in-One
The Mini and the WeatherDot fused into a single unit. Wind and atmosphere from one point on the pole.
Calypso Handheld
The first handheld to read wind speed, wind direction, and full atmosphere with zero moving parts.
LoRa System
The training network, revamped and built to grow past three units per receiver.
Charging Case
One case that carries the kit and charges it on the way to the range.
Portable Mini
The instrument that built Calypso's name with shooters, rebuilt from the protocol up. Same mission: wind speed and direction the second you hold it up, small enough to live in your kit. What changes is what it talks to. This generation is open protocol native.
Ultrasonic, no moving parts
Four transducers read speed and direction straight from the air. There is no rotor to lag the gust and no bearing for dust and cold to kill.
Pocket instrument
Built to the same pocket and pole discipline as the current Mini: stake it, hold it, or tripod it, and read from your phone.
Open by design
One partner key unlocks native compatibility for any solver, calculator, or optic that requests it. Your reading goes where you point it.
Gunship Grey
Dark gunmetal, made for the mat and the line. Full specifications publish on this page the day the unit is ready.
A pocket-sized ultrasonic wind meter. Bluetooth, battery powered, no moving parts.
Four ultrasonic transducers talk to each other in pairs and read wind speed and direction straight from the air. No cups, no rotor, no bearing for dust and cold to wear out.
At 43 mm across and 78 g, it rides in a pocket and sets up anywhere a 1/4" thread goes: tripod, pole, or phone mount. Readings stream to your phone or Garmin watch through the free AnemoTracker Ballistics app.
A walkthrough of charging, pairing with AnemoTracker Ballistics, and mounting publishes here the day the Portable Mini opens. Until then, the user manual in Documentation covers every step.
Works with the Calypso Ballistics app (now on Google Play), and every partner that joins the open protocol. Building a solver or an optic? Request a partner key at sales@calypsoinstruments.com.
Our shooting app: hold in MIL from your drift per MPH, shooter's clock, lull and gust bracket, air density and DA. Works with the new Mini on firmware 10.

WeatherDot
Your solver's elevation math runs on density altitude, and density altitude is built from temperature, pressure, and humidity. The WeatherDot reads all three at your position, on the mat, in the air your bullet actually flies through. The refresh brings it into the open protocol generation.
Three channels, on site
Temperature, pressure, and humidity from one puck, so density altitude tracks the day instead of an airport report from twenty miles out.
The elevation half
Pairs with any wind unit on this page for full environmentals, or works alone wherever atmosphere is the question.
Open by design
Partner key native. Any solver on the open protocol reads it directly, with nothing standing between the sensor and your screen.
Gunship Grey
Dark gunmetal, tripod ready. Specs land on this page before they land anywhere else.
A 40 g weather station for the elevation half of your solution.
Temperature, humidity, and pressure at your position, sent to the free AnemoTracker Ballistics app for live viewing and logging. Density altitude from the air you are actually shooting through, not an airport twenty miles away.
It runs up to 700 hours on a charge and threads onto the same mounts as the Mini, so wind and atmosphere can share one pole.

Mini All-in-One
Today, full environmentals means two instruments: a Mini reading wind and a WeatherDot reading air. The All-in-One fuses them. Wind speed, wind direction, temperature, pressure, and humidity from a single unit on a single mount, feeding one stream to whatever solver you run.
Both halves, one point
The windage half and the elevation half of your firing solution, measured at the same spot, timestamped together, no second device to stake.
Half the mounts, half the charging
One unit on the pole where two used to stand. One battery to think about instead of two.
Open by design
Partner key native. The full environmental stream lands in any partner solver directly.
Gunship Grey
Dark gunmetal, ultrasonic, no moving parts. The complete spec sheet posts here first.
Wind and full atmosphere from one palm-sized ultrasonic unit.
The first mini, compact unit to pair ultrasonic wind measurement with temperature, humidity, and pressure. Both halves of your firing solution, windage and elevation, measured at the same point and streamed together.
Same 43 mm footprint as the Mini, 85 g, one Qi charge. One mount on the pole where two instruments used to stand.

Calypso Handheld
Every handheld weather meter on the market reads wind through a spinning turbine. The Calypso Handheld is the first to read wind speed, wind direction, and full atmosphere with zero moving parts, ultrasonic head up top, display and keypad in your hand, the whole environment on one screen without a phone.
Everything, in hand
Wind speed, wind direction, temperature, pressure, and humidity in one instrument you hold. No turbine to lag, foul, or die.
Reads without a phone
Onboard screen and keypad for the line, with the full stream still available over the open protocol when you want it elsewhere.
Open by design
Partner key native, like the whole line. The handheld convenience without the closed system that usually comes with it.
Gunship Grey
Dark gunmetal. When the spec sheet is final, this page carries it first.
Wind and full atmosphere on a color screen in your hand. No phone required.
Ultrasonic wind speed and direction plus temperature, humidity, and pressure, read on the device itself. Four transducers up top, no turbine to lag, foul, or die.
A 1.44" full-color display and dedicated buttons let you cycle sensors, capture Min/Avg/Max over a string, and log timestamped readings on the unit. The same stream goes to the AnemoTracker Ballistics app when you want it on your phone.

Charging Case
Instruments you charge at home get left at home. The charging case is the fix: seat the kit in the case and it charges on the shelf, in the truck, on the way to the match. Open it at the line and everything comes out topped off.
Charges while it carries
Units seat into the case and charge in place, so range day starts at full instead of starting with cables.
Built for the bag
A hard shell around the instruments your firing solution depends on, sized for the kit, made for transport.
Open by design
Designed alongside the Gunship Grey units, and fits the current-generation line too. Capacity and configurations publish with full specs.
Gunship Grey
Dark gunmetal shell, sized to the kit it protects.
Compatible with the Gunship Grey line and the current-generation line. Seat either generation in the case and it charges.

LoRa System
The wind at your muzzle and the wind at 800 yards are different reports, and training with sensors downrange is how you learn to read the difference by eye. The current LoRa system runs three units per receiver. The revamped generation is built to run larger networks on a single receiver, which turns a training tool into range infrastructure.
Three meters, one receiver
Each receiver listens to up to three LoRa wind meters at up to 3 km line of sight, and relays all of them to your phone over Bluetooth.
Training and facilities
Built for clubs, academies, and programs that want live truth downrange while shooters train the eye they will use on the clock.
Open by design
The downrange stream rides the same open protocol as the rest of the line, into the software your program already runs.
Gunship Grey
Dark gunmetal units and receiver. Range configurations and specs post here when final.
Ultrasonic wind from downrange, relayed live to your phone from up to 3 km away.
Set the ultra-low-power LoRa wind meter out on the range. It reads wind speed and direction once a second and transmits over LoRa up to 3 km (1.86 mi) in direct line of sight.
The receiver sits with you and relays the data over Bluetooth to the AnemoTracker Ballistics app. One receiver listens to up to three LoRa wind meters, so you can see muzzle, midrange, and target wind side by side.
A walkthrough of charging, pairing with AnemoTracker Ballistics, and mounting publishes here the day the LoRa System opens.
