Every Calypso wind meter shows a unique ID when you scan for it in the AnemoTracker app. The same number is printed on the box and on the unit sticker, and it never changes.

Tip: rename the unit in the app the first time you pair it, so it is easy to spot on a crowded line.

Yes. Firmware updates install over Bluetooth through AnemoTracker Configure & Update.

It depends on the unit. Active-use figures from the current data sheets:

Bluetooth range is up to 30 m (98 ft) in open space. Walls, bodies, and radio noise shorten it, so keep a clear line of sight when you can.

Need readings from farther out? The LoRa system sends wind up to 3 km (1.86 mi) line of sight to a receiver at your position.

The free AnemoTracker Ballistics app works with every unit. The Portable Mini also works with Strelok Pro, Garmin Connect IQ, and Hornady. The Mini AB pairs natively with Applied Ballistics, including AB Quantum.

The Gunship Grey line adds every partner on the open protocol.

Yes. Every product carries a 2-year standard warranty from the date of purchase. If a part or product is defective, we will repair, recalibrate, or replace it with the same or an equivalent product. Repairs may use new or reconditioned parts.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover:

Warranty service is carry-in: you ship the unit to us, and we ship the repaired or replacement unit back at our expense.

You have 30 days from delivery to return an item. It must be unused, in its original packaging with the seal intact, and come with a receipt or proof of purchase. Items with a broken or removed seal cannot be returned.

When your return arrives, we inspect it and email you the result. If it is approved, we refund your original payment method. How fast the credit shows up depends on your card issuer.
